New laws have come into force to help protect farm animals from dog attacks.  It is important that all dog walkers make themselves familiar with the laws. 'Farm animals' also include animals such a llamas too.  

It is also important to understand that the law does not just cover physical attacks but includes harassment such as causing stress to the animals if a dog is running up and down a fence and barking. If a dog causes stress to pregnant sheep for example, there could be serious issues.
